New Opposition Party hits the road running

Ahead of their soon to be official launch, members of the new Opposition party were in the field today touring a number of areas including the Cheapside Market and the Bridgetown Fisheries Complex.

Speaking to the media during the tour opposition Leader Bishop Joseph Atherley alleged that fish vendors in Barbados are experiencing  lower sales volumes than previously which says coincided with the hike in bus fares. He saw a possible link.

He suggested the government pay more attention to trying to find ways to help grow the fisheries sector.
