Duguid: Days of Government buying diesel buses for public transport are over
Minister of Transport and Works, Dr. William Duguid, has ordered a comprehensive study be conducted into the transport sector saying there is an urgent need to fully determine the needs, options and costs.
Dr. Duguid made the announcement as he delivered the opening remarks as a national consultation on domestic transport got under way at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre.
Dr. Duguid also declared that the days of government buying diesel buses for public transport are over. He says government is fully committed to reducing its carbon footprint and insists says it’s time to go green.
