Minister of Transport, Works and Maintenance, Dr. William Duguid, has been explaining a traffic change that has come in for criticism on social media.

It relates to a roundabout placed at Ridge View, Christ Church, a stretch of road leading from Coral Ridge and going towards Edey Village.

Among those fuming over the new roundabout and its effect on traffic in the area is former traffic policeman Erskine Cumberbatch, a driving instructor, who posted a video on social media expressing his concerns.

But Dr. Duguid tells Starcom Network News that the planners felt a roundabout was required due to the large number of homes being built in a development there.
