Vinson Atherley PhotoThe death is announced of Vinson Erwin Atherley aged 42 affectionately called “Dow” or “Abdul” of Gaskin Land, Bushy Park, St. Philip and former Public Service Vehicle Driver of B185 on the Bayfield route entered into rest on Saturday, 11th February, 2017 at the Q.E.H.

Husband of Alicia Atherley;
Son of Gladys Atherley of the USA and Deryck Trotman employee at the Grantley Adams International Airport;
Father of Leah Atherley and Selena Holder;
Brother of Stacey and Deandra Atherley both of the USA;
Grandson of Lorna Trotman;
Son-In-Law of Judith Archer and Elvis Brewster;
Brother-In-Law of Tameisha and Kimberley Watts and Kemar Browne;
Nephew of Norville and Monica both of USA, Noel, Jeffrey, Algernon Atherley, Pereival, Condell and Lodwick Weeks;
Cousin of Wendell, Rene and Kathy-Ann of the USA, Allan Forde, Sharon Lodwick and Linda Howard;
Relative of the Atherley, Trotman, Weeks, Watts and Skeete Families.
A service of thanksgiving celebrating the life of Vinson Erwin Atherley will take place at St. Philip Parish Church, Church Village, St. Philip on Friday, 10th March 2017 followed by interment in the churchyard. His body will be viewed on Friday before the start of the service from 3:00 pm until the start of the service at 4:00 pm during which time floral tributes will be gratefully collected. The Organist and Members of the Church Choir are kindly asked to attend. An offering towards the upkeep of the Church will be collected during the service. Flowers may be delivered to St. George’s Home for Funerals no later than 1:00 PM the day of the funeral.
