Management of the Sanitation Services Authority (SSA) and the National Union of Public Workers (NUPW) have wrapped up talks surrounding concerns raised by employees about the newly imported garbage trucks.

Chairman of the SSA, Senator Rudy Grant says these included steps on the side of the trucks instead of the rear and the need for an additional passenger seat.

Senator Grant tells Starcom Network News that these and other matters were addressed to the Union’s satisfaction.

Senator Grant also revealed that two more garbage trucks are also expected to arrive on island tomorrow.
