Barbadians overseas have been invited to come back home for what has been dubbed The Gathering 2020.

In delivering her first Independence Day message as leader of the country, Prime Minister Mia Mottley, said 2020 is the year in which the vision for the country will be perfected, and the Gathering 2020 initiative will signify the grand coming together of Barbadians during that period.
