Barbados’ medical health officials say they are monitoring the dengue situation in the Caribbean where there is an outbreak in Jamaica, while Grenada has issued a dengue alert but they stress that there is no outbreak in Barbados.

Acting Senior Medical Officer in charge of communicable diseases and surveilance, Dr. Leslie Rollock, tells Starcom Network News there is no indication of a problem here.
