Barbados to establish embassy in Ghana
Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley has announced that Barbados will establish an embassy in the African nation of Ghana by the end of the current fiscal year.
She was speaking at her official residence Ilaro Court during a joint news conference with the President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo who arrived here today for an official visit.
Miss Mottley says the embassy, to be located in the Ghana capital Accra is part of efforts to strengthen relations with that state.
It was also disclosed that nurses from Ghana will be coming to work in Barbados to help alleviate the shortage.
