Minister of Agriculture Indar Weir has dismissed as wild and silly suggestions that agricultural lands formerly owned by Clico will be sold and possibly converted to use for housing development.

Mr. Weir called into the Voice of Barbados call-in program Getting Down to Brass Tacks following a news conference held by the Democratic Labour Party yesterday at which the DLP’s spokesman on Agriculture, Andre Worell expressed the concern about a possible change of use of the land.
