Heavy showers forecast for this weekend

It’s looking like a wet Crop Over last lap weekend.
The Met Office says an elongated area of low pressure, which is located about 1000 miles East South East of Barbados, has been generating widespread disorganized showers over the past 24 hours.
Some slow development of this system is possible, and a tropical depression could form well to the east-northeast of the island by early next week, as the area of low pressure moves west-northwestward at 10 to 15 miles per hour late Monday into Tuesday.
Occasional moderate to heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms are likely over Barbados from as early as Sunday, August 4th and continuing into Monday, August 5th.
