in shows in Barbados where people discuss the national and community
issues with a varied group of moderators.
Down To Brass Tacks is the flagship of the call-in programmes. Since
its inception in 1989 this programme has been a powerful force in
Barbadian public life. Politicians, institutions, and practices
are held up to public scrutiny and any irregularities are quickly
